The Interest Group in Parliament will be organising a Mongolia and Russian Youth Business Forum.

The Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, Mr M.Enkhbold, is currently participating in the 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), which is being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from April 1st to 5th.

Coal-rich Mongolia exported 4.86 million tonnes of coal in February, surging 84.9% from 2.63 million tonnes in January, and up from 0.28 million tonnes in February 2016, showed data from the Mineral Resources Authority of Mongolia.

An earthquake occurred in the popular tourist destination of the Kharmagtai district in the Khuvsgul province in northern Mongolia on 1st of April.

Robert Glasser, Assistant Secretary-General and Special Representative for Disaster Risk Reduction will visit Mongolia for the ISDR Asia Partnership (IAP) meeting.
