The Naadam Festival is Mongolia’s main holiday and a wonderful time to experience the culture and people of this amazing land. It is only held once each year, between July 10 and 13. The three-day festival is a thrilling sporting event that has been happening for centuries since the time of Chinngis Khaan. This year, it will mark the 2228^th anniversary of the nation; the 813^th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 98^th anniversary of the People’s Revolution in Mongolia, which brought independence from Chinese occupation.

Earlier today, the Naadam organizing committee held a meeting. According to reports, G.Tsoggerel, director of the Mongolian Grand Theater of National Art will produce the opening and closing ceremony of the festival. The organisers have confirmed that the Naadam budget will be MNT 2.9 billion and anticipate 400 million in revenue from the festival.
