S.Batbold, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar has issued a order banning camping trips and picnicking in green zones around the city due to the high risk of forest fires.

As of yesterday (16th of July) there were 22 forest fires burning in Mongolia.

Under a decree of Deputy Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh, who was also in charge of the Naadam 2017 organising committee, mixed-bred horses were banned from participating in any of the six age horse-racing categories.
