The Mongolian team finished fifth
at the Moscow Grand Slam of the International Judo Federation that saw 459
wrestlers from 63 countries competing for honors on May 28 and 29. M.Bundmaa
(52 kg) won a gold medal, thus repeating her feat in the Paris Grand Slam in
February. There were 33 women in her category.
Ts.Mungunzaya (women’s 63 kg) won
a silver medal and D.Tumurkhuleg (men’s 60 kg) a bronze. Both Kh.Tsagaanbaatar
(men’s 66 kg) and M.Urantsetseg (women’s 48 kg) finished fifth.
The next Grand Slam will be held
in Rio de Janeiro on June 18 and 19.
