Khuushuur
is surely the most popular food of the people during Naadam. This year, City
Administration issued about 200 licenses to serve khuushuur to the people
during the holidays at Central Stadium and Khui Doloon Khudag. Even though the
city administration said price of khuushuur must not exceed MNT 450, the
average price of khuushuur was MNT 500-600. Most expensive of them was Kempinski
Hotel’s khuushuur. Kempinski attracted the customers with quality products.

Some
places offered free milk tea to the people who buy khuushuur. Two liters of milk
tea cost MNT 3500. Sellers said 40 liters of tea disappeared almost instantly.  

Despite
the high price, people seemed happy with the food.
