
Mongolian boxing athletes have gone to Thailand to compete in the ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships lead by team leader, 2008 Olympics silver medalist, P.Serdamba, team coach youth boxing coach B.Erdenebayar and Talyn Burged club coach in Dornod province, T.Erdenebayar.
The Mongolian national boxing team competing in the 2014 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships is as follows:
-49 kg: D.Munkh-Erdene,
-52 kg: E.Tsendbaatar
-56 kg: B.Misheelt
-60 kg: E.Bat-Ulzii
-64 kg: G.Dalai
-69 kg: G.Tsenguun
Boxers from 16 countries including Mongolia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, South Korea and Uzbekistan are competing in the Youth Boxing Championships that began in Bangkok on January 25th.
On the first day of the Championships Mongolian boxer E.Tsendbaatar in the men`s 52 kg category beat Japan`s Yuri Kantaro on his way to three rounds. B.Misheelt in the men`s 56 kg class defeated Tajikistan`s Bahodur Usmonov 2:1.
E.Bat-Ulzii in the men`s 60 kg class was defeated by Kazakh Abylyahan Jusurov at the end of the tournament.
On the second day, G.Tsenguun in the men`s 69 kg category lost to India`s first class boxer.
