Honored Mongolian athlete Hakuho M.Davaajargal successfully completed the 15 day competition on the closing day of the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament or Natsu basho on May 26th. This is the 25th time Yokozuna Hakuho M.Davaajargal has won the Japanese Emperor`s Cup. Hakuho now matches with the success of the former Grand Champion of Sumo, Asashoryu D.Dagvadorj.

Yokozuna Hakuho is now the only record holder of 25 titles. He won 10 of these 25 titles with no loses.

On the last day of the 15 day Tournament, Natsu basho Hakuho broke his previous record of consecutive 9 titles without being defeated, winning gainst Harumafuji D.Byambadorj at Tokyo”s Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall.

Now Yokozuna Hakuho is tied with former Grand Champion of Sumo, Asashoryu D.Dagvadorj, with the amazing victory of holding 25 titles.
