The '3000 Mongolian parents’ conference was held at the UB Palace on 16^th of April for promoting citizenship and positive development among children. The event was organized by the Social Development Committee of the City Government Office in cooperation with Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, the Education Department of Ulaanbaatar city and Chingeltei District Administration.

Under the programme " Mongolian Citizen ", the country aims to help every child obtain creative intelligence and to gain confidence; it also aims to  educate all children with various skills and knowledge about making the right decisions, learning, living together peacefully, and instill a  respect for the national language, culture and traditions. The programme will be implemented at all pre-school, primary and secondary schools by 2020.
