State Honored Athlete and Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games bronze medalist D.Otgondalai has become champion of the Thailand International Invitational Boxing Tournament, formerly known as the King’s Cup. The competition was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 2^nd -10^th April. Over 100 boxers from 18 countries competed in event. Under the guidance of coach D.Batsuren, People’s Teacher and State Honored Coach D.Bandi and N.Munkhsaikhan, 11 athletes participated in the tournament.

By total points, the Mongolian team won USD 7.5 thousand as D.Otgondalai took the gold medal in 60 kg while G.Gan-Erdene – the bronze medal in 49 kg. Previously, D.Otgondalai won his first gold medal from the same tournament in 2008.

On that note, D.Otgondalai announced to participate in ACBC Asian Boxing Championship on 24^th April.
