Mongolian State laureate Artist, baritone Amartuvshin Enkhbat competed in the semi final round of the Francesc Viсas International Singing Competition, one of the most prestigious contests in the World. Amartuvshin Enkhbat baritone shared his success on his Facebook page.

The competition is being held this year on 150th birthday of  Francesc Viсas and 50th years anniversary of the contest.

This year"s edition of the competition, which opened this 9 January, has 480 participants from 57 countries. Preliminary rounds were held in Milan, Paris, Madrid, Hamburg, New York, London and Los Angeles.

Once again, the Barcelona Municipal Music Conservatory and the Gran Teatre del Liceu will be the main venues for the competition, which will continue until 20 January, when the winners will give a final concert.

The winner of the  competition or gold medalist receives 20,000 Euros and next season ticket for performance in Teatro Real in Madrid.

And silver medalist 10.000 Euros, bronze  medalist receives 7.000 Euros.

The prizes will be presented on January 20.
