Хятадын 56 үндэсний нэгээр өвөрмонголчууд ордог. Тус улсад байх өвөрмонголчуудын тоо 2020 оны байдлаар 6,290,204 гэж бүртгэгдэж, 2010 оныхоос 0.45 хувиар өссөн байна.

Тэгвэл Өвөрмонголын нутаг дэвсгэрийн Фүсин хотын дунд сургуульд Монгол үндэс угсаагаа хадгалж, өв соёлоо түгээн дэлгэрүүлэх зорилготой хичээлийн дараах дугуйлан ажиллаж буйг "Xinhua агентлаг онцолжээ. Үүнд бөхөөр барилдах, монгол ардын бүжиг, морин хуур тоглох зэрэг дугуйлангууд багтаж байна. Сүүлийн жилүүдэд Хятадын засгийн газраас бага, дунд үндэстнүүдээ уусгах бодлого хэрэгжүүлж байсан. Гэхдээ тус сургуулийн сурагч, багш нарт монгол угсаагаа хадгалж үлдэх нь чухал гэж "Xinhua агентлаг нэмж тэмдэглэв.
