At the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg, South Korean Prime Minister, Hwang Kyo-ahn is visiting Mongolia, from 15th-17th December. During the visit, Mr Hwang will meet President Ts.Elbegdorj and Parliamentary Speaker Z.Enkhbold. An official meeting will also be held with Mr Saikhanbileg. The two sides are planning to sign a co-operation agreement on transportation, industry and energy. There will also be discussions on regional and international co-operation.
This is the second visit of South Korean Prime Minister since 2001 when the ex-Prime Minister Lee Han-dong visited Mongolia. 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and South Korea.
