The World Speed Skating Championship took place in the Dutch city of Groningen on 14th-15th November. This championship was a special event, because it provides Olympic Games’ rights for Lillehammer, Norway in February 2016.
The Mongolian team consisted of the coach D.Enkhbayr and International Masters of Sport, B.Sumiya and Ya.Zorigtbaatar who attained the Olympic requirements in every category in which they participated.
On 28th-29th November, Mongolian skaters also participated in the next Olympic Games Skating World Cup, which was held in Berlin and officially took their rights for the “Olympic Games”.
In addition, Mongolian skaters have been preparing themselves; this was for only 10 days in South Korea; Foreign participants started their training in August 2015, using their their own ice rinks.
