On 23rd November, the Deputy Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, M.Enkhbold had an official meeting with a Chinese delegation headed by Ms. Yan Junqi, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress.
During the meeting, Mr. M.Enkhbold said: “This visit opens a new page in the relations and co-operation between our two countries. I am very glad for the start of the 1st joint meeting on Mongolian and Chinese governmental coordination mechanisms”.
Ms. Yan Junqi also noted that: “The mutually beneficial co-operation of our two countries is deepening in all sectors. The frequency of high level visits is being maintained and mutual trust between our two countries is strenghtening”. She also quoted the Chinese saying, that “A close neighbor is better than a distant relative”
The two sides have exchanged their opinions about Mongolian and Chinese relations in the areas of trade, the economy, mining, infrastructure, agriculture and other sectors. Also, they have expressed their positions as to how to facilitate large-scale projects and strategic policy programs.
