-You have been appointed as a specialist to the Asian Chess Foundation and you are the first Mongolian to be appointed. For Mongolians, this is great news.

-The Asian Chess Foundation headquarters is located in Abu-Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates.   In March this year I am going to the United Arab Emirates.    Although I graduated from the Institute of Business Administration, I will do everything that I can do for the development of the sport of chess in Mongolia.

Of course, as you have been appointed as a specialist to the chess foundation, I guess you have met special criteria. Moreover, is the knowledge of foreign languages very important?

Yes you are right. In order to become a specialist at the Asian Chess Foundation you need to meet several criteria.  First of all, to have an international title in chess and, of course, the knowledge of a foreign language. My employment contract with the Asian Chess Foundation is until January 2016.  In my case, I can fluently speak Russian, English,  and intermediate level Chinese. 

-What do you think is one of the most important criteria to influence your appointment to the Asian Chess Foundation? Was it working as a journalist at Olympiad, do you think that this had an influence?

Yes,  I think that working as a journalist at the last two Olympiads influenced my appointment. 

World  Chess Olympiad is organized once every two years, so this is the biggest event for chess players. I haven’t participated in this Olympiad, because when I submitted my  information for registration, I stated that I hadn’t participated at World Chess Olympiad in 2012.  However, I got a chance to work as a journalist at their invitation.

-I would like to hear more about your plans upon appointment.

During my stay in the United Arab Emirates I will work as a trainer for the Asian Chess Foundation. Moreover, I will work on the commission for the organization of chess events.  Starting next month, there are several chess competitions to be held in Dubai and the Continental Junior Chess Competition of  Korea.  

-Do you plan to participate in the Asian Chess Competition?

-Yes I will participate in the Asian Chess Competition. Aside from working at the Asian Foundation I will participate in chess tournaments and championships.
