Mongolian MPs have backed U.Khurelsukh as the 30th Prime Minister of Mongolia. In the important session of the State Great Khural, MPs voted by 61.8 percent to approve U.Khurelsukh’s appointment.

The Mongolian State Great Khural (parliament) discussed the appointment of the new Prime Minister, earlier today (4th of October). However, a total of 30 MPs from the ruling Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) were absent at parliament during the session.

The Government made a decision on Tuesday (4th of October) to withdraw the Bill on 2018 State Budget, to allow the new PM and Government to make any necessary changes they consider required.

The Mongolia-Russia Cooperation 2017 forum was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 3rd of October. Aimed at developing bi-lateral cooperation, the two sides exchanged views on a number of mutually beneficial cooperation issues.
