Mongolians demonstrated again on Thursday demanding stringent action against those guilty of child abuse.

Mongolia is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the International Association for Mongol Studies. To mark the event, a ceremony took place at the Ikh Tenger Complex on 26 October, during which, Mongolian President Kh.Battulga and the Vice President of the International Association for Mongol Studies (IAMS) delivered speeches.

The Mongolian government will be providing a one-time payment of MNT 300,000 to civil servants, said new Finance Minister Ch.Khurelbaatar. This will cover a total of 192,000 civil servants.

S.Baatarjav has been appointed as Commissioner General of the National Police Agency of Mongolia.

The Mongolian government released a USD 800 million bond on 26 October to repay the USD 400 million from the Chinggis bond. The repayment will be made in January 2018.
