Mongolian-EU relations are entering a new phase with the Framework Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation coming into force and the much-anticipated opening of an EU Delegation in Mongolia.

Mongolia’s State Great Khural (parliament) has discussed the presidential veto of Finance Minister Khurelbaatar. In the debate, which took place on 2 November, 84 percent of MPs who attended meeting of parliament voted against presidential veto.
