The London Stock
Exchange (LSE) will hold its 2nd conference on the Capital Market of Mongolia
on September 29. The aim of the conference is to extend the relationship of the
Government of Mongolia, domestic companies, and investors in London.
Last year’s conference
Prospective investors, most of them
non-Mongolian, in the Central Region – comprising Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Tov and
Gobisumber provinces – spent two days last week attending a forum at Darkhan
and listening to the potential of the region’s mining, infrastructure,
agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

L.Oyun-Erdene,
elected yesterday by The Democratic Socialistic Youth Union under the MPRP as its new head, has said he would work for
implementation of the six-point strategic program adopted by the Union at its

34-year-old Mongolian woman in Naju in South Korea was murdered on Tuesday by
the Korean husband of another Mongolian woman.
The husband of the murdered woman, also Korean, was injured when he
tried to protect his wife. The murderer has been arrested.
