Mongolia has become the first country to join the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) “BreatheLife” campaign in an effort to combat air pollution in Ulaanbaatar.

The fourth meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Mongolian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation took place on 18th of September. The meeting was held in the Belarus capital Minsk.

Under its Sustainable Tourism Project, Mongolia aims receive a million tourists in the next few years. Discussion on this initiative was held at the National Development Institute of Mongolia (NDIM) on 18th of September.

The ‘Ulaanbaatar: Happy City’ brand was officially introduced today (19th of September) during a regular meeting of City Mayor’s council. The brand is to be used as an icon of the Mongolian capital on all souvenirs and events.

As a member of the UN, Mongolia attends the session every year. This year, acting Foreign Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil will participate in the session instead of President Kh.Battulga.
