The Government made a decision on Tuesday (4th of October) to withdraw the Bill on 2018 State Budget, to allow the new PM and Government to make any necessary changes they consider required.

Wrestling is one of Mongolia’s traditional sports along with horse racing and archery. The country’s leading wrestler is known as the “State Hawk”; this is the title currently held by O.Khangai in the traditional wrestling rankings which have been released by the Mongolian Wrestling Federation.

Former Mongolian President Ts. Elbegdorj made a speech at the climate forum, earlier today, 3rd of October. The event, entitled ‘Mongolia’s contribution to decrease world climate change’ has been taking place at the Continental Hotel in Ulaanbaatar.

A Mongolian-Russian cooperation forum starts on 3rd of October in Ulaanbaatar. The event aims at realising the proposals made from the previous forum held last year in Novosibirsk, and expanding bilateral cooperation between the two neighbours.

Today, (2nd of October), the State Great Khural (parliament) of Mongolia commenced its autumn plenary session with President Kh.Battulga in attendance. In his speech at the opening ceremony, the president urged parliament to form the new cabinet immediately and to begin working.
