Mongolia is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the International Association for Mongol Studies.

The search-and-rescue operation for the avalanche victims on Mt Otgontenger entered its second day on 24th of October. So far, the mountain rescue team has retrieved fourteen bodies from the snow at a height of 3200-3400 meters.
