Children help Red Cross support herder families

With support from international partners, the Mongolian Red Cross (MRS) has provided 1.2 billion MNT (50.1 million U.S. dollars) to 4,500 herder families whose livelihoods are at risk from severe winter conditions, the leader of the agency said on Monday.

Mongolia’s rescue dogs undergo training

On Monday, NEMA organised an intensive training programme (AHC-18) for rescue dogs from Ulaanbaatar, Selenge, Khentii and Bulgan. A total of ten animals participated in the training together with the officers who are their handlers.
