MPs R.Gonchigdorj and E.Bat-Uul submitted resignation application of Defense Minister J.Enkhbayar to Deputy Speaker G.Batkhuu on February 17.

Defense Minister J.Enkhbayar informed about resignation issue to journalists on Monday. Military Advisor to the Defense Minister major general N.Myagmar and Political Advisor to the minister major general N.Jalbajav attended press conference.

J.Enkhbayar stated that some wrong information was broadcasted last week and he noted that he has worked as a minister for three weeks. He said that the DP caucus has postponed reporting of his works and it has demanded the minister’s council meeting protocol. He added that the protocol is ready to deliver to the caucus.

The Defense Minister explained dismissal of some officials of the ministry that the officials have been dismissed due to official post requirement and work implementation.
