
Then the Premier paid visit to Ugtaaltsaidam soum and handed over certificates of the best farmers of the state. Farmers of the soum have harvested 107,600 tons of wheat in 2011 and it has been the most harvest of the soum since 1986. Besides, they have led for scope of harvest from each hectare in the state.
S.Batbold noted that agriculture sector has been resumed in results of the Government policy and farmers working efforts. He stated that the Government has highly estimated hard work and joint efforts of Ugtaaltsaidam soum’s farmers. The state has begun construction of grain depots and has allocated MNT3.5 billion for depot building in Ugtaaltsaidam soum. Farmers harvested the most amount of wheat in 2011 for last two decades and wheat domestic demand has been supplied by 100 percent.
