The police department in the Khan-Uul district recently established an agency in conjunction with its “Public-Police Cooperation” program.

The new agency will help monitor and rehabilitate convicted criminals. It will offer training programs, housing, and employment services. Already, six ex-convicts have found employment through the agency.

The agency is also publishing manuals for police officials, governors, administration units, social service workers, and other officials to explain criminal laws and how to prevent criminal activity.
