Munguntuul wins first two matches at Nalchik tournament before losing two in succession

After successive victories in the first two
rounds at the ongoing FIDE Grand Prix tournament in Nalchik
in Russia, one of them
against the rating favorite of the tournament Humpy Koneru from India, Mongolia’s B. Munguntuul
disappointed her supporters by losing in the next two rounds.

In the fourth, she was defeated by Tatyana
Kosintseva, who os the present leader with 3.5 points. The Spanish game saw

The FIDE Women Grand Prix is a new series of elite

The next series will be held in Jermuk, Armenia from June 23 to July 6, followed by Ulan Bator, Mongolia
from July 29 to August 12, and Santiago,
Chile
from
October 27 to November 9.
