The Sukhbaatar district’s Civil Representatives Assembly has issued a
protocol to ban smoking in public places in the district, including
Sukhbaatar Square.

The protocol says the district will be a smoke-free place, and
businesses, restaurants, bars, clubs, and public toilets will be
smoke-free. It orders no-smoking signs to be displayed in these places.
The assembly says the protocol is part of an anti-smoking program.
District administrators have been asked to write rules for implementing
the protocol.
