The Social Democratic Youth Union held its annual Gold Rose awards ceremony at the Ulaanbaatar Hotel on December 31. The awards honor young people who have made outstanding achievements in their respective fields.

Prime Minister and MPP Chairman S.Batbold, Speaker D.Demberel, and other politicians were invited to the ceremony.

J.Erdenebat, the governor of Selenge aimag, was awarded a Gold Rose for achievement in politics; Grand Master B.Munguntuul for sports; Ts.Garamjav, the Director of Monpolimet LLC, for nature and the environment; and N.Nomtoibayar, the Director of MAK LLC, for business and economics.

Confederation of Trade Unions President S.Ganbaatar was also awarded a Gold Rose.
