The Democratic Party’s Youth Union and the Civil Will Party’s Youth Union jointly organized a festival for young people on December 28, 2011.

Political observers say it’s no accident that the Democratic Party (DP) and the Civil Will Party (CWP) are working together. The two parties have already discussed cooperating for the 2012 parliamentary election.

Some experts believe the DP and the CWP will officially form an alliance before the election. But that would complicate the CWP’s proposed merger with the Green Party, which the Supreme Court has not yet approved.

There are rumors that the DP and CWP committees in Sukhbaatar aimag have already formed an alliance. That alliance may have started at the local committee level.
