The DP held one of its “Mongol Citizen 2020” forums in Khashaat soum of Arkhangai aimag on November 25.

More than 100 residents of the soum took part in the forum, discussing
general plans for the next ten years. They also spoke of the problems
facing the soum, and discussed possible solutions. Among the topics
broached were employment, safety, health, education, and freedom.

Herders suggested protecting pastureland, improving animal husbandry
programs, improving police activity in the soum, and improving education
to generate more professionals.
