The General Authority for State Registration and the United Nations Development Program organized a forum on civil registration and human rights on Tuesday. The forum was initiated by the National Commission of Human Rights.

This was the second phase of the forum, and topics included “Civil Registration and Human Rights,” “Current Situation of Civil Registration and Future Goals,” and “Some Problems of Civil Registration in the Countryside.”

Officials from civil registration organizations, representatives of civil societies, researchers, and delegates from international organizations discussed problems relating to civil registration and human rights violations, and ways to solve those problems.
