Mongolians collected six medals at the Judo Grand Prix Amsterdam 2011 tournament held last weekend in Amsterdam. More than 400 athletes from 63 nations took part.

The Mongolian team of nine men and five women won two gold medals, one silver, and three bronzes. Two Mongolians finished fifth, and overall the team came in second.

D.Tumurkhuleg won gold in the men’s 60 kg division, while Ch.Boldbaatar won bronze in the same category. Kh.Tsagaanbaatar won bronze in the men’s 66 kg division, while S.Miyaragchaa won silver in same category. Ts.Munkhzaya won bronze in the women’s 63 kg division, and P.Lkhamdegd won gold in the women’s -78 kg division.

Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar and S.Nyam-Ochir came in fifth in their divisions.
