
It is the first major international forum on Mongolia’s burgeoning mining and metallurgy sectors. Delegates are discussing the latest technologies, investment opportunities, and opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Mineral Resources and Energy Minister D.Zorigt; Road, Transportation and Urban Development Minister Kh.Battulga; and National Development and Renovation Committee Chairman Ch.Khashchuluun are introducing projects and programs at the forum. Oyutolgoi LLC President and CEO Cameron McRae and Trade and Development Bank President R.Koppa are making presentations.
Among the major projects under discussion at the forum are the construction of a copper processing facility near the Erdenet, Oyutolgoi, and Tsagaan Suvarga copper mines, and the construction of a ferrous metals facility near iron deposits in Selenge and Darkhan aimags and the industrial complex in Sainshand city.
