Former Green Party (GP) chairman D.Enkhbat is refusing the GP’s demands that he return the party’s seal and certificate. GP officials met with Enkhbat on Tuesday and handed him a written request for the seal and certificate. But Enkhbat refused to accept the request and tore it up.

GP officials say they will send a request by post. They added that, if Enkhbat refuses to return the seal and certificate, the GP will file a complaint against him for violating provisions 234.2 and 236 of the Criminal Law.

The State Supreme Court recently registered the Green Party. Last February Enkhbat said, “If the State Supreme Court registers the Green Party, I will return its seal and certificate.”
