2008 Olympic silver medalist and world champion P.Serdamba defeated Cuban boxer Yosvany Veita Soto at the 2011 AIBA World Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan on Wednesday. He will fight South Korean boxer Shin Jun-Hun for the silver medal on Friday.

Asian boxing champion U.Munkh-Erdene was defeated by Italian boxer Vinchenco Mangiakapred on points, 11-16.
