The new Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative in Mongolia, Percy Misika, presented his credentials to Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister G.Zandanshatar on Tuesday.

Zandanshatar congratulated Misika on his appointment to Mongolia, and, on behalf of the Government, expressed his gratitude for the continuing assistance of the FAO in Mongolia.

The FAO assisted 22 soums in seven aimags during last winter’s storms, sending humanitarian aid worth USD 1.1 million.

P.Misika thanked the minister for receiving him and said he looked forward to widening relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the FAO.
