The State Specialized Inspecting Agency says it will inspect newly-built roads, airport runways and landing strips, and roads used for transporting mineral resources in the aimags.

The following roads will be inspected: Uvurkhangai to Bayankhongor aimag; Kharkhorin soum to Khujirt soum; Govi-Altai aimag to Bayankhongor aimag; Khovd soum to Darvi soum; and Bulgan soum to Yuench-Altai soum.

Roads, runways, and landing strips will also be inspected in Bayan-Ulgii, Zavkhan, and Arkhangai.

Also, roads used to transport coal from soums to mining companies, including those in Gobi-Altai and Khovd aimags, will be checked.
The roads to be inspected have been financed privately and through loans from China as part of a program to develop roads in the western region.
