The Committee of Scientific Trade Unions announced at a press conference on Thursday that it will hold a demonstration in front of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science at 11 on Friday morning. The committee says it has been asking the ministry to solve social problems and protect the interests of workers in the science sector since 2009. 

The committee has also asked for the salaries of science workers to be tripled. The committee’s most recent request was sent to Minister Yo.Otgonbayar on September 12 and requested a reply within five days. The committee has received no reply and says the demonstration is their next step.
