While attending the United Nations 66th General Assembly on Wednesday, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade G.Zandanshatar met with his counterpart from Thailand, Surapong Tovichakchaikul. They discussed bilateral relations and collaboration.

G.Zandanshatar congratulated Surapong Tovichakchaikul for his recent appointment to his post, and expressed his hope of strengthening mutual relations and cooperation.

The Ministers exchanged opinions on widening cooperation in trade and economics, and discussed ways to achieve long-term benefits for both nations. They also discussed the possibility of increasing the number of Mongolians studying in Thailand.
Zandanshatar also invited his Thai counterpart to visit Mongolia.
