Mongolian two-time Olympian Ser-Od Bat-Ochir won the Brighton Marathon in Britain on April 18. The event attracted some 10,000 runners.
The long-distance runner from Mongolia finished his way in two hours 19 minutes and 05 seconds. “It is my first marathon in Britain,” said Ser-Od, who is serving the British Morpeth Harriers athletics club. “The British crowd was very supportive,” he added.
The Brighton Marathon”s gold medal is not the first gold for 28-year-old Ser-Od. He won the Good Luck Beijing marathon in 2008, before grabbing a bronze medal in the Hong Kong marathon.
