Journalism awards named in honor of Ts.Baldorj were handed out at the Ulaanbaatar Restaurant on Thursday. Out of 208 works submitted, 12 were selected for awards.

J.Gangaa of the newspaper Udriin Sonin won the top award, and D.Byambatsetseg of Mongolian National Public Radio and Television took second prize.

J.Gangaa was awarded a medal, a crystal cup and USD 5,000. Ten other journalists took home prizes as well, and all 12 winners will take a foreign trip sponsored by Ulaanbaatar Bank.
