107 athletes will represent Mongolia in the Jiu-Jitsu World Cup

The 2024 Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship will take place from November 6 to November 17 at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi. The championship spans multiple categories and age groups. Events start with the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Festival for kids from November 6-7, followed by Para Jiu-Jitsu on November 7, Youth competitions on November 8-9, and Amateur events on November 10-11. Masters’ events are scheduled for November 12-13. The professional matches will conclude the event from November 14-16, with the awards ceremony on November 17 to honor the top athletes and teams.

9,000 athletes from 137 countries will compete for 11 days in all age and belt categories. In these days, Para Jiu-Jitsu Championship will be held too.

This year 107 athletes will represent Mongolia in the Jiu-Jitsu World Cup. 6 coaches, 2 judges and 3 officials will also participate. The first group of athletes left for the UAE today.

G.Gantulga, a student and athlete of Mongolian State University of Education’s JUMP program, achieved the greatest success last year. He wrestled in the adult blue belt -94 kg weight class and won a gold medal.
