The first Major competition of “CS2” has started yesterday /2024.03.17/ in Copenhaghen, Denmark. The top 24 teams from each continent has competed in the tournament with a prize pool of 1.25 million USD. Mongolian team “The MongolZ” participated representing the Asia-Pacific region.

They made a history yesterday by won the team “Legacy” from Brazil by score of 2-0. They qualified for the “Elimination Stage” of Major for the first time in its history. Now global best teams, such as “FaZe”, “Vitality”, “Spirit”, are waiting for them.

16 best teams from each continent has competed in the “Opening Stage” of Major. Among these, only eight team will be participate in “Elimination Stage”.

The Mongolian team participated in the Major for the fourth time and passed the first stage for the first time. Not only that, they have improved the ranking of the Asia-Pacific region. Three teams from the region qualified for the Major in Shanghai.
