Mongolian junior chess players won 14 medals at the Asian Schools Chess Championships. The the 16th edition was held from in Kalatura, Sri Lanka on 3-11 December.

A total of 410 athletes from 13 countries took part in the tournament.

22 juniors, five coaches, two parents and one referee represented Mongolia in the Asian Schools Chess Championships.
