
Demberel noted that relations between the nations have a long history, and that Bulgaria has contributed much to the development of Mongolia’s economy, culture, and educational resources. He also emphasized the ties between the two countries’ parliaments. Then Demberel briefed the delegation on Mongolia’s parliament, society, and economy.
The Speaker added that Mongolia is interested in developing its mining and agriculture sectors to European standards, and that Mongolia would like to widen its traditional relations with European nations and the European Union.
D.Chukarsky said Bulgaria was interested in deepening its ties with Mongolia, and in cooperating in the development of both countries’ mining and agriculture sectors. He also said Bulgaria is a good avenue through which Mongolia can develop relations with the EU, NATO, and Balkan countries.
