Hunnu Air took delivery of its first ATR42-500 and inducted it into revenue service in July 2022. JU-1803 was ferried from Belgrade to Aktau on July 2, 2022, already under its Mongolian registration.
Hunnu Air posted a photo of the 16.9-year-old ex-KrasAvia turboprop operating a flight to Dalanzadgad on July 22. The airline has not filed schedules for the type and did not respond to ch-aviation’s request for more details.
The Avions de Transport Régional turboprop was retired by the Russian carrier in January 2022, before international sanctions crippled Russia’s ability to legally operate Western-built aircraft.
The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows the Mongolian carrier also operates two ATR72-500s and one E190.
