A proposal to impose night curfew in Mongolian capital is proposed by Health Ministry in view of rising coronavirus cases. The time period of the curfew this could be from 10:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m. According to officials, the curfew will help to decrease pandemic spread in Ulaanbaatar by 20 percent.
The Health Ministry had on Friday said that Mongolia was undergoing the third wave of COVID-19 but a lockdown was not being considered yet.
As per the Mongolian government health bulletin on Friday, a total of 2,796 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection and 9 deaths were reported within the last 24 hours. So far, Mongolia has 269,476 confirmed cases and 1,083 deaths.
