Mongolia’s foreign exchange reserves reached USD 4.9 billion at the end of April, hitting an all-time high, reported the country’s Central Bank.
The record was mainly related to the stable exchange rate of the Mongolian national currency, the Tugrik, and measures taken by the Bank of Mongolia to ensure the stability and adequacy of foreign exchange reserves, the bank said in a statement.
At the end of last year, Mongolia’s foreign exchange reserves hit an all-time high of USD 4.5 billion.
