Mongolia’s foreign trade turnover rose 50.6 percent year on year to USD 4.4 billion in the first four months of this 2021.
The country registered a surplus in its foreign trade balance as exports exceeded imports by USD 535.4 million in the January-April period.
Exports jumped 81.8 percent year on year to USD 2.4 billion, largely contributing to the overall growth.
China remains Mongolia’s top export destination in the period, accounting for 92.5 percent of total exports.
